PROPELLER DIAMETER

Diameter is two times the distance from the center of the hub to the tip of the blade. It can also be looked at as the distance across the circle that the propeller would make when rotating. This is the first number listed when describing a propeller.

PROPELLER PITCH

Pitch is the theoretical distance that a propeller moves forward in one revolution. This is the second number listed when describing a propeller.

PROPELLER RAKE

Rake is the angle at which a blade differs from perpendicular. This is the third number listed when describing a propeller.
